The psychedelic krautrock band Lasse Reinstroem are about to release their fifth album, 'Rasputiza' in 2020. Since establishing in 2009 they have developed their sound through numerous tours/live shows, releasing their last album 'Maza Wakan' in 2016 which Bandcamp included in their 2018 list of top ten German Hard Rock bands describing them as; 'Ranging from the southern fried classic rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd to the shrieking art-punk of Nina Hagen to Motorhead’s busted muffler rock ‘n’ roll. Add in a hefty dose of sludgy alt-rock, and you have yourself a recipe for a good time—and some pretty potent rocket fuel' Having performed more than 200 live shows across Europe, with bands such as; Monster Truck, Stoned Jesus, Spaceslug, Dÿse, Samavayo, Monster Truck, Big John Bates and Gorilla Monsoon, they have developed a knack for consistently whiping the audience into a frenzy which Urbanite described as: 'Their performances are anything but boring... dancing, moshing, singing and will stop anyone in their path.'

While still drawing on the sounds they have previously explored, this time with 'Rasputiza' they have now managed to capture the full spirit of their renowned underground live shows. Slowly crafting this album and aiming for a darker direction they began recording it in Hellerau – 'European Centre for the Arts,' which provided them the perfect platform to fully realise the complete vision of the band and at the end of the careful production process the band enlisted Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Sleep, Dylan Carson, Corrosion Of Conformity) for the final stage of mastering to complete the album.
